SpaGuard Spa Sentry

SpaGuard’s Spa Sentry gives spa owners a one-step liquid additive to avoid pH bounce for up to 1 month per application, simply by adding directly to water. Before using this product you must first drain and refill your spa and set the desired level of both pH and alkalinity before applying. Spa Sentry also contains a clarifying agent that removes dissolved metals in your water, giving your spa clearer and softer water that will be instantly noticed by bathers.

How to Use SpaGuard Spa Sentry

  1. Drain and clean spa surface with SpaGuard® Surface Cleaner.
  2. Clean filter with SpaGuard Filter Cleaner and Degreaser.
  3. Refill with fresh water.
    • IMPORTANT: leave heater off before the addition of Spa Sentry.
  4. If Total Alkalinity is greater than 150ppm and pH is higher than 7.6, use pH Decreaser to lower pH to 7.4.
  5. If fill water has calcium hardness less than 150ppm, add 1 quart of Spa Sentry per 300–500 gallons. Clean filter after 24 hours.
    • NOTE: Water may become cloudy upon addition.
  6. If fill water has calcium hardness greater than 150ppm add 2 quarts of Spa Sentry per 300–500 gallons. Add the first quart, wait 24 hours, clean filter, add the 2nd quart.
  7. Clean filter again after 24 hours.
    • NOTE: Water may become cloudy upon addition.
  8. The pH should remain stable for up to 60 days. If the spa has not been drained after 60 days add an additional quart of Spa Sentry.
  9. If Spa Sentry is used in a system with Brominating Tablets, the life of Spa Sentry is severely reduced. Brominating or Chlorinating Concentrate is recommended.
